FULL SWING GOLF SIMULATOR – 5 YEARS WITH LEXUS AT U.S. OPEN

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Full Swing Golf Simulators are not only built to fit into a wide variety of installation scenarios, withstand months of foot traffic with zero downtime, and recreate the closest-to-life, virtual golf environments available, but they were also engineered to deliver a unique and custom indoor golf experience every time. As a testament to this, Full Swing is proud to partner with Lexus for the fifth straight year – for the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club.

What makes this year’s partnership different than last year? In 2010, Full Swing recreated the famed par 3, 17th hole at Pebble Beach in which guests took aim at the flag surrounded by bunkers and the rocky coastline of the Pacific Ocean. This year, the company is delivering the dangerous par 3, 10th hole at Congressional – reminiscent of the 12th hole at Augusta – with its huge water hazard and narrow green.

“Full Swing Golf is about getting the game of golf into the hands of a broader public,” says Executive Vice President Brian Arnold. “By creating a custom golfing amenity for our clients at each venue, visitors are able to experience the challenge and excitement that is facing the pros right outside the tent.”

Guests visiting the Lexus Performance Drive tent this year will be able to take shots in a closest-to-the-pin contest during the entire week of the event. All participants will be competing this week to win a brand-new Lexus CT Hybrid.
